Pastor Rob Mallan

Rob Mallan was born in Miami, Florida and spent a majority of his life traveling because of a military family life.  He received Christ as his personal savior in 1991 during an 18 month encounter in prison. Years of physical abuse, neglect and drug abuse by his parents left him lost, confused, personally destructive and on the wrong path of rebellion with poor associations.  A powerful experience with the love and hope of Christ radically transformed his life, purpose and perspective.  He decided to dedicate his life to full time service to God and Ministry.

Rob was licensed to preach and ordained in 1992 through International Support Ministries under Dr. Stephen List, in Tampa, Florida.  Rob began his ministry career as a maintenance supervisor and bus director and quickly became the Student / Youth Pastor.  In his 14 year tenure at a Tampa Church, he and his wife Jennifer helped to co-found, develop and grow, Rob experienced a vast array of ministry positions:  He birthed an inner city outreach program, a strong man public school positive incentive  program.  He led an athletes support group where he was a personal Pastor and Life Coach to an array of professional sports figures.  Rob launched and oversaw missions programs, men’s ministries and an after school program that received awards and accolades from Government officials, and public school administrators.  Rob ‘s life and ministry has been featured in National Magazines and television shows.  He pastored the college and career ministry, started Coffee Break (a coffe house ministry), outreaches, book clubs and many other notable human interest and spiritually illuminating Para groups.  Rob taught in Bible College, Co-led an International Training Center that trained Pastors and Youth leaders globally.  He served in an Associate Pastor position for 7 years and oversaw 5,000 – 8,000 congregants at any given time.

Rob completed an accredited ministerial training program and has actively pursued ongoing educational seminars and courses throughout his career.  He is a certified life coach, a licensed foster parent, a certified group fitness instructor, a sought after conference speaker and consultant, a motivational group trainer and active on the foreign mission field.   Rob has a desire to train, equip and help propel people into their God given destiny.

Rob and his wife Jennifer have been married since 1994 and have 5 sons, 2 birthed from their heart and 3 from their womb.  They have 2 grandsons and have had 11 foster boys.  Rob uses the lessons from his life journey, successes as well as failures to connect with, empower, challenge, ignite and inspire people to be their absolute best.  Rob is a dynamic motivational teacher who has a desire to cultivate other’s gifts and help them acquire the skills necessary to live an abundant life.

Pastor Mallan was ordained and sent forth to start a church under Christian Family Church International by Pastors Theo and Beverly Wolmarans.  He has been the Senior Pastor of Christian Family Church, Inc. in Tampa, Florida since its inception in February of 2008.
