Worship & Fine Arts

Our Mission

The vision of CFC’s Worship & Fine Arts Ministry is to train and develop people who are called to function and flow in the areas of music, media and fine arts.  We are focused on preparing hearts for an intimate experience with God.

Requirements

1. Be a member of Christian Family Church – includes completion of Christian Growth Seminar.
2. Be born again, committed to the principles of tithing and actively pursuing a close relationship with the Lord through prayer, Bible reading, small group involvement and church attendance.
3. Complete audition and interview.
4. Attend Thursday evening rehearsal (7:00 – 9:00PM) each week and be punctual for pre-service rehearsals (9:00AM).*
5. Attend 3 consecutive Thursday evening rehearsals before participating in a service.
6. Have necessary equipment to listen to weekly rehearsal CDs/mp3s. Rehearsal CDs are available for $1.
7. Commit to 6 months of ministry.
8. Commit to church attendance outside of choir commitment.
9. Be teachable and submissive to designated authority.
10. Be committed to prayer and worshiping the Lord and have motivation to glorify God.
11. Must be at least 14 years old.

*Notify Music Department of absences and do not participate in the following weekend services if you are not  prepared through obtaining and rehearsing scheduled songs.
